Inception: A Review of a Reality Questioner

"Dreams feel real while we're in them. It's only when we wake up that we realize something was actually strange."
"Inception.....wow" is the general response received when I inquired on their views and perceptions of the movie "Inception." My favorite critique thus far, given by _Tony_E_Stark_ when he said "It's 'Matrix' meets 'Ocean's Eleven' ". Though I find the opinion erroneous when taken in a literal sense...it does give you a succinct general idea of what to expect. After seeing the movie you can see the correlation, but will ultimately decide that as great as "Matrix" is, it doesn't reach the stratosphere in which "Inception" resides...

"Inception" started off wonderfully: vague enough to raise questions and sharp enough to catch your attention. From that moment on, you're sitting at the edge of your seat wondering what's going on. As the plot unfolds you think you'd start to understand a little bit more, but as they give you more information, you realize they didn't show you how to piece it all together yet. But as the plot develops and expands pieces begin to fall into their proper place and you're able to infer the places of some of the others.

The movie builds well, although there were several points where I thought there was "too much" going on, my mind was on overload trying to keep track of every detail as time overlapped time and several different situations occurred simultaneously.

The plot develops rather quickly and the concept of time is skewed which makes following the character relationship development a little difficult, if even possible.

But over all...Inception is a refreshingly complex movie. The plot was strongly established, and suspense was injected throughout every minute of the movie...you found yourself wrapped into every moment waiting to see what will happen next.

Overall a great movie. I'm once again captivated in the movie theater and happy with my choice to spend a CD's worth of $$$ on a ticket.
